Washington -Senatic Democrats plan to force voting on Wednesday under the War Forces Act that are intended to block the continued American strikes on alleged ships that transmit drugs near the Venezuela coast.

“There was no approval to use the Congress force this way,” Schiff said on Wednesday, saying that strikes risked in complete conflict with Venezuela. “I feel it’s obviously unconstitutional.”
The strikes in the Caribbean Sea encouraged a two -sided return, and the legislators questioned their legality. The Congress, which has the only authority for the Constitution for the proclamation of the war, did not approve the use of military force against drug cartel.

Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was the loudest critic of GOP’s strikes on alleged drug smuggling boats. After the first strike, Paul condemned Vice President JD Vance, who said that “the murder of cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the greatest and best use of our army.”
“What a desperate and reckless feeling to celebrate the murder of someone without trial,” wrote.
Paul later emphasized his position on the press, saying that the strikes were risking the killing of innocent people, and there was no evidence that the ship was heading to the US, he noted that they had never boarded the ship now to look for drugs before bombarding it.
“I don’t care if it is a Republican president or president of Democrats, I don’t think we can just ruthlessly kill people without having a process,” he said.

“We blow ships thousands of miles from our coast,” Schiff said. “What will prevent some other people from deciding, well, they will use the same precedent to blend ships thousands of miles from their coast, whether in the southern China Sea or somewhere else, with an alleged reason that they are involved in some type of store and therefore take action? I don’t think it’s the practice we want to accept.
