Americans – Celebrate 2025! That year we discovered that Democrats were wrong about almost everything, while American common sense was always right.

Think this is exaggerated? consider:

Climate alarmism is no more. It turns out we need oil and gas;

Let’s teach our children why America is worth fighting for

  • big government Spending is a staple of the Democratic playbook and leads directly to the Great Fraud;
  • DEI plan Not working;
  • More police lead to safer streets;
  • “Gender Affirming Care” is dangerous and wrong.

1. Climate

Perhaps the most important change of 2025 is the long-overdue realization that climate alarmism may be more dangerous than climate change. Even billionaire Bill Gates, a longtime climate crusader, has hung up his cleats, and some profound changes are already happening. Gates recently penned a memo acknowledging that climate change “will not lead to the demise of the human race”; the welcome display of realism comes just a year after one of the world’s richest men wrote a book titled “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster.”

Look at how blue state officials are evading climate mandates that make power more expensive and anger voters.

Evidence one is the Democratic governor of New York State. Kathy HochulShe recently lifted former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s damaging de facto ban on natural gas pipeline construction.

Defining fair play: Why swing state Democrats are struggling to protect women in sports

After years of adhering to Cuomo’s disastrous climate agenda and watching New York’s electricity prices soar to 40% above the national average, Hochul in November angered climate warriors by approving a key permit for Williams’ Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) natural gas pipeline. Hochul said energy demand and grid reliability dictate the change. That’s a big shift for a woman who wants to outlaw gas stoves.

Both Gates and Hochul are in lockstep with the corporate world, which has quietly abandoned environmental goals as the power demands of artificial intelligence databases dominate. The reality is that trillions of dollars of investment in renewable fuels have done little to reduce demand for oil, gas and coal.

Furthermore, the costs for Western countries to strangle their economies to reduce carbon emissions are becoming too high, especially since China, India and other developing countries are today’s largest emitters and do not comply with such regulations. As Gates writes, the focus should be on improving lives here and around the world, rather than blindly trying to limit fossil fuels.

2. big government

vice president Joe BidenDemocrats have spent trillions of dollars unnecessarily, raising our deficit relative to the economy to levels never seen except during major wars. The flood of cash not only fueled decades of high inflation, it also opened the door to massive fraud, resulting in hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars disappearing.

Recently, the country uncovered a still-growing scandal in which Minnesota’s Somali community allegedly stole up to $9 billion in funds that would have been used to feed hungry children and house the homeless.

As Trump unleashes energy agenda, conservative groups declare 2025 will be tipping point for ‘climate hysteria’

Democrats (and sometimes Republicans) hope to attract voters by handing out money; they know that if citizens become dependent on largesse, they will vote to keep the good times going.

But someone has to pay for what’s free; that poor guy is the taxpayer, and they’ll eventually rebel. As blue states raise taxes to feed their welfare machines, they bleed businesses and residents who flee to lower-tax states like Florida and Texas. The bottom line is, big government doesn’t work. Never has and never will.

3.DEI

Earlier, President Donald Trump Overturning what he called “illegal and unethical” DEI programs that Biden had called for in every corner of the federal government. Biden’s executive order, “Advancing Racial Equity and Supporting Underserved Communities through the Federal Government,” requires nearly every federal agency — including air traffic control and the military — to submit “equity action plans,” which has resulted in “enormous public waste and shameful discrimination.”

Inspired by the president’s plan to resist virtue signaling, companies quietly let DEI fall by the wayside, realizing that such efforts would divide employees and stoke resentment.

Under President Joe Biden, Democrats have needlessly spent trillions of dollars, raising our deficit relative to the economy to levels never seen except during major wars.

In February, Accenture’s CEO wrote a memo to employees saying the large professional services firm was shelving its DEI initiatives because it was “largely on target” and that “we are and have always been a meritocracy.” PepsiCo, Disney, BlackRock, McDonald’s, Ford, Walmart and dozens of other companies have followed suit.

In 2016, Harvard Business School released a report on “Why Diversity Programs Fail,” revealing that decades of forced diversity efforts have produced little progress as research shows that “force-feeding can induce bias rather than eliminate it.” That remains true today.

4. Police help

You might think that increased police patrols would significantly reduce crime. But the American left insists, based on ideology rather than common sense or evidence, that law enforcement is the problem, not the solution.

The far left has taken control of the Democratic platform and voters have lost interest

Trump deployed the National Guard to the streets of Washington, D.C., and they became safer. Huo Chu dispatches National Guard for protection New Yorkof subways, not surprisingly, they have become less dangerous. This isn’t rocket science.

5. “Gender-affirming care”

Allowing young people to permanently change their gender is an atrocity that thankfully has been banned in much of Europe and is now restricted in 27 states. Because there is still an organization in the United States oddly dedicated to promoting this heinous activity, activists continue to push for its legitimacy. They are suing to overturn the Supreme Court ruling United States v. Schemetti Tennessee’s law banning gender-affirming care does not constitute discrimination on the basis of sex and does not violate the U.S. Constitution.

The left insists that underage children should be able to mutilate their own bodies and permanently destroy their reproductive capabilities without their parents’ knowledge. It’s hard to imagine a more brutal activity.

Happily, in 2025, common sense prevails on these five issues. Let’s hope that 2026 continues this trend and perhaps provides wisdom on the recklessness of open borders, the shame of our public education system, and teachers’ unions.

In the meantime, we have a lot to celebrate!
