Deadly explosion rocks Iranian port city as Tehran plans naval exercises in Strait of Hormuz




An explosion at a building in Iran’s southern port city of Bandar Abbas killed one person and wounded 14 on Saturday, authorities said. The explosion, which occurred a day before a planned Iranian navy exercise in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, was caused by a gas leak, a local fire chief said.
