Zomato The CEO Deepinder Goyal dismissed on Saturday that the company loses its market share or forcing employees to commission exclusively on its platform. His response followed a Viral Reddit site, allegedly from a Zomato employee, who raised concern about the internal practices of the company and the competitive position.
The post anonymous stated that Zomato was losing ground in rivals like Zepto Cafe and Swiggy. He claimed that employees had the obligation to make at least seven orders a month in Zomato, with an internal monitoring applied, and that the sorting of competitors like Swiggy was banned at office facilities.

“All this is an absolute nonsense,” Goyal said in a publication on the X social media platform (before Twitter). “We also do not lose the market share, nor will our employees be forced to ask Zomato. Freedom of choice is something that we are coming up to vehemently.”
