Daniels came back on third-and-3 and found wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus for his first down. Three plays later, Daniels threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Demi Brown to give Washington the lead. With 9 minutes and 26 seconds left in this quarter, Washington leads 7-3.
He received treatment on the sideline after the touchdown.

This was Daniels’ first career playoff game, and he looked as cool and collected as he has all season.
Washington hasn’t won a playoff game since the 2005 season. That game was against bucs. Mark Brunell leads Washington to a 17-10 win over Chris Sims’ Buccaneers. Clinton Portis rushed for a touchdown and the late Sean Taylor returned a 51-yard fumble for a touchdown.

This is the first time the Commanders have made the playoffs since 2020. They went 7-9 that season and won the NFC East title.
