The expanded FIFA Club World Cup will take place in 2025 and will feature Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.

The new Club World Cup will involve 32 teams and will be held every four years starting in the summer of 2025. This is an expansion of the previous version of the event, which was held annually and featured only seven teams from around the world.

When will the 2025 Club World Cup be held?

The Club World Cup will be held in the summer of 2025 and will last for 29 days.

The competition starts on June 15th and the finals will be held on July 13th.

What is the format of the Club World Cup?

The competition format is exactly the same as the FIFA World Cup, but for clubs.

The 32 teams were divided into 8 groups of 4 teams, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the knockout rounds.

Round of 16 stage – a first round of single elimination games – then on to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and then the final. There will be no third-place match between the two losing teams in the semifinals.
