An interesting explanation was suggested by Ukrainian journalist Igor Burbas, who suggested that Mudrik receive stem cell injections while on duty with the national team to address the discomfort that limited his performance.
The stem cells, allegedly derived from a cow that was exposed to meldonium, inadvertently contaminated Mudrick’s sample, according to reports.
Shakhtar Donetsk CEO Sergei Palkin recently confirmed that Mudrik passed a polygraph test and continues to build his defense, but the official results are still to be determined.
Palkin revealed that there are huge financial risks beyond Mudric’s career. If the winger cannot return to the game, the Shakhtar team may lose 30 million euros in performance bonuses.
Chelsea provided Mudrick with a personalized fitness program during his time away from the Cobham training ground, despite his number 10 shirt being reassigned to Cole Palmer this summer.
