A global vigil was held after the killing of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk. His close friend Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Performance podcast, urging the mourners to remember him because he believes Kirk will want it.
“I want Charlie to be remembered for his great faith, because that’s how he wants to be remembered, courage and faith,” Corvette said on Sunday.Futures on Sunday morning. ”
Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point in the United States, was shot dead on the Utah University campus on Wednesday. He left his wife Erika and two children.

Much of his work focused on restoring what he thought was a traditional American family, and it was a mission Rooted in his Christian faith.
Corvette urged supporters to include their grief in the same commitment.
He said, “If you (want) to honor Charlie today, it’s Sunday… Go back to church, open the Bible, pray, and ask God to lead you. That’s what he wants.”

Corvette said the global response has reflected the authenticity of his message since Kirk’s death.
Corvette said: “I believe his resonance is so wide and wide across the world… because he is very good.

Corvette said the peaceful nature of the memorial made particularly meaningful to Kirk’s family, staff and friends.

“The people who love him the most, they don’t harass. They don’t burn cities or businesses. They’re praying, they illuminate candles with his honor, they express the sorrow they feel, and we all feel the sorrow of ourselves in our own way.”
