The video of the young girl, originally shared on Instagram by her school teacher, shows her bowling in slow motion on a makeshift cricket pitch in the village.
Tendulkar shared the video and commented that her bowling action is “smooth, effortless and looks adorable!” He also said that Meena has “shades” of former India bowler Zahir Khan.

Caramel Popcorn Controversy
Is caramel popcorn the same as other popcorn? Not according to India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) Board, which determines tax rates on various products.
Earlier this month, the council announced a 5% tax on off-brand popcorn mixed with salt and spices, but caramel popcorn, which is classified as confectionery, would be subject to an 18% tax.
India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman explained that the presence of added sugar makes caramel popcorn a “mithai” or candy and therefore attracts taxes under a different category than regular popcorn.
The decision sparked a backlash from Indians, prompting a slew of memes and criticism online.
“Our country’s tax system has truly evolved and popcorn is now the gold standard of luxury goods,” one user wrote on X.
Instagram influencer and celebrity Orry commented that caramel popcorn is bad for “financial health.”
Jairam Ramesh, spokesman for the main opposition Congress party, said: “Three different tax rates on popcorn under the GST are absurd… and will only reveal a deeper problem: A system that was supposed to be simple and beautiful has become increasingly complex.
