Celtic closing in on Benjamin Arthur

According to Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports, Celtic now close to signing Benjamin Arthur On loan from Brentford for the remainder of the season. Negotiations are ongoing and the deal will see Stephen Walsh return to Motherwell on loan before the transfer window closes.

The 20-year-old centre-back won’t be grabbing the headlines from the start. After all, he has only made three appearances for Brentford’s first team this season. However, he is a defender with plenty of potential, so it certainly doesn’t hurt to work with a head coach like O’Neal.
