Senate Democrats launch a ‘planned effort’ to undermine Public perception of the Supreme CourtCBS News reporter Jan Crawford argued Sunday.
After CBS reporter Major Garrett brought up the Supreme Court’s record-low approval ratings on Sunday’s “Face the Nation,” Crawford said these issues go back to 2024 It’s already started.
“It really started and took off after the Dobbs decision, where the court overturned Roe v. Wade,” Crawford said. “I think the outrage is so extreme that you’re seeing orchestrated efforts by Democrats and Senate Democrats to undermine the legitimacy of the Supreme Court. She criticized her Democratic opponents for “misrepresenting” the case and that the decision actually protected President Biden from prosecution.
“When we look at the polls, of course, the courts have taken a hit, but that’s been the case over the years. The courts have taken a beating quite often. So have other institutions. In the eyes of the courts, public opinion is still much higher than our opinion.” Other institutions , including the White House, Congress, and to date the news media,” Crawford said.
