Manchester United secured a thrilling Premier League win with a 3-2 victory over Fulham at Old Trafford.

Manchester United’s interim boss Michael Carrick continued his perfect start to the season on Sunday, with Benjamin Sesco’s stoppage-time goal helping his side beat Fulham 3-2.
United took the lead through Casemiro’s first-half header and dominated with Matheus Cunha’s goal after the break at Old Trafford.

In an incredible final, Raul Jimenez’s penalty with five minutes remaining gave Fulham hope, before Kevin’s superb stoppage-time strike equalized for the visitors.
To United’s huge credit, they struck straight back and the much-maligned Cesco sealed Carrick’s third successive win with his fourth goal in the past four games.
The remarkable encounter, which follows new boss Michael Carrick’s surprise wins over Manchester City and Premier League leaders Arsenal, suggests the former Manchester United midfielder may have the Midas touch.
United are unbeaten in their last seven league games and have moved up to fourth as their bid to qualify for next season’s Champions League gathers pace.
Reaching the Champions League would be a big statement for Carrick, who was sacked by second-tier Middlesbrough last year.
Only once during former manager Ruben Amorim’s turbulent 14-month reign did United win three games in a row. Carrick equaled that record within weeks of taking over and held it until the end of the season.
If Carrick can continue his impressive form, United’s hierarchy may have to consider hiring him permanently.
Whether that was enough to appease the 1958 United fanbase, who staged a protest against the owners outside Old Trafford before kick-off, is another matter.
Hundreds of fans, some wearing clown masks, gathered to express their dissatisfaction with United’s decline under the Glazer family and the team’s lack of progress since owner Jim Ratcliffe took charge of football operations.
The group claims United have been “dragged into chaos by clown ownership” and are “run like a circus”.
Flares filled the air on Sir Matt Busby Avenue as fans chanted slogans against the boss and held banners.
When the smoke cleared, Carrick’s instincts paid off when he introduced Cunha into the starting XI, replacing the injured Patrick Dolgu after the Brazilian scored the winner at Arsenal last weekend.
Only Arsenal have picked up more points than in-form Fulham in their last eight games, but United have found a way to end that run of form.
United thought they had won a penalty for Jorge Cuenca’s foul on Cunha.
But a VAR check showed the attack occurred outside the penalty area.
It was only a temporary reprieve for Fulham, with United taking the lead from a free-kick in the 19th minute.
Bruno Fernandez crossed the ball towards the far post and Casemiro got up high to curl a towering header past Bernd Leno.
Manchester United scored again in the 56th minute, scoring Cunha’s sixth goal of the season.
It was a goal scored in Brazil when Casemiro deftly ignored a pass to find Cunha inside the Fulham penalty area, who beat Leno’s shot from an acute angle.
Fulham were denied a lifeline when VAR ruled out Cuenca’s goal in the 65th minute.
Samuel Chukwueze deflected Jimenez’s free kick towards Cuenca, but it was narrowly ruled out for offside.
But United were inconsistent and Jimenez converted a penalty in the 85th minute after the Mexican was fouled by Harry Maguire.
United looked to be falling apart in stoppage time when Kevin cut in from the right and fired a brilliant shot into the far corner from the edge of the area.
Two minutes after Kevin’s equalizer, United showed their spirit when Cesco received a pass from Fernandez and fired high into the net from 12 yards, sparking wild celebrations.
