Britain’s Starmer seeks fresh start with China as Trump shakes up global relations




British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday that he wants to build a “sophisticated relationship” between the two countries. Starmer’s four-day visit to China is the first by a British leader in eight years, and comes amid rising tensions between the UK and the US.
