Nadeem mistimed his shot and the ball flew into the air towards deep mid-wicket where there was no fielder at the time. But Brian Bennett worked absolute magic in the 2026 T20 World Cup.

How did Bennett land one of his best catches ever?

Bennett rushes to his right, covers a lot of ground deep from mid-wicket, then sprints full force. While still in the air, he caught the ball with both hands and landed cleanly, ensuring the ball stayed safely in his hands. Bennett’s amazing effort left everyone in disbelief.

The dismissal ended Oman’s game in dramatic fashion, and Nadeem returned to the dressing room after scoring 20 points off 18 balls with the help of a four and a six. Oman were eliminated by Zimbabwe by just 103 runs in Colombo on Tuesday.
