Price

The search for a new laptop for most people starts with price. If the statistics chipmaker Intel and PC manufacturers INDO are looking at the US correctly, you will be holding onto your next laptop for at least three years. If you can afford to stretch your budget a bit to get better specs, do it. And that stands out if you spend $500 or more than $1,000. A 4K, 14-inch screen may be overkill, but not if you need to look at a wide spreadsheet.

Text and the edges of images may look bad on a lower resolution display.
