Despite only signing in the summer, Leeds United The star could leave Elland Road in the final days of the winter transfer window.
In November’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City, Daniel Farke switched to three centre-backs in the second half but he hasn’t looked back.
Los Blancos are playing in a completely different manner than they did at the start of the season and there is a six-point gap between them and 18th-placed West Ham United after 23 games in the Premier League.
Leeds United have been particularly quiet in January in recent years, with the Whites breaking that trend this year by announcing the signing of Facundo Bonanotte on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Wolves striker’s move to Crystal Palace now less certain than it seemed Jorgen Strand-Larsen remains on Leeds United radar by the deadline of February 2nd.
Ahead of the team’s home game against Arsenal, Falke pointed out that Leeds United’s situation will not cause them to panic. He said, according to British Broadcasting Corporation: “We have a responsibility to give ourselves the best possible lineup for the grind because it’s important not to fall asleep, but we can allow ourselves to be picky. Luckily we weren’t in a position where we had to panic“.
In terms of departures, Leeds United have seen the winger Jack Harrison joins Fiorentina on loan The rest of the season. Now it seems that the Whites may have to face the problem of the team being eliminated sooner or later.
Besiktas eyeing one of Leeds United’s summer signings
Leeds United spent more than £100m in the summer to prepare for their return to the Premier League. One of their signings is goalkeeper Lucas Perry, who joins after an outstanding season for Lyon in Ligue 1. Perry missed five games through the first three games of the season with an arm injury but quickly retained his starting job after fully recovering.
The Brazilian’s performances at Leeds were not entirely convincing. After the team lost 4-3 to Newcastle United, Perry was replaced by Karl Darlow in Leeds’ FA Cup tie with Derby County, with the Wales international retaining his starting spot in the Premier League games against Fulham and Everton.
Given the removal, Türkiye’s reports pass inside football Turkish giants Besiktas are claimed to have added Perry to their list of goalkeeper targets with just days left in the transfer window.

Besiktas is fifth in the Super League but has not been beaten since early November. Rumors surrounding Perry’s future are somewhat understandable given his form and eventual withdrawal from the first team.
However, with Perry only signing in the summer, Leeds are unlikely to let go of their latest acquisition. Falke will no doubt be hoping the 28-year-old can bounce back after being dumped, and given how late in the transfer window it is, it’s difficult to imagine Leeds finding a suitable replacement in the market.
