BBC Mourners pay tribute outside Rabbi Schlanger’s funeral

Mourners have paid tribute to British-born rabbi Elie Schlanger, one of 15 people killed in Sunday’s mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

At his funeral, Schlanger’s death was described as an “indescribable loss” to the Bondi Jewish community.

His funeral was the first for a victim of the attack on Hanukkah events. The BBC’s Katy Watson was outside as the ceremony ended.
