Trump wrote on “Truth Social”: “The Super Bowl halftime show was absolutely terrible, one of the worst shows ever! It made no sense, was an insult to great America, and does not represent our standards of success, creativity, or excellence. No one understood what this guy was saying, and the dancing was disgusting, especially to the little kids watching from America and around the world.”
“This ‘show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ for our country, which is setting new standards and records every day – including the best stock market and 401(k)s in history! There is nothing inspiring about this chaotic halftime show and viewing, and it will get rave reviews from the Fake News Media because they have no idea what is going on in the real world – and by the way, the NFL should replace its ridiculous new kickoff rule immediately and make America great again!”
Prominent conservative influencers have been among the show’s harshest critics, even the U.S. Department of Justice’s Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Dillon’s mother Interjected.
One of the biggest criticisms of the show is that it’s almost entirely in Spanish.

Other users even linked the show to the ongoing debate over illegal immigration and deportation of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
However, some fans and sports stars praised the play, including former NFL star JJ Watt and New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson.
The show ended with a message displayed on the Levi’s Stadium video board that read “The only thing more powerful than hate is love,” which some critics interpreted as a political message.
The show is expected to be the first Super Bowl halftime show to be sung entirely in Spanish. However, pop singer Lady Gaga appeared and sang Bruno Mars’ song “Die With a Smile”.
Bad Bunny wears a mock football jersey that says “Ocasio 64.” Ocasio’s last night. Some believe the number refers to the death toll first claimed by the Puerto Rican government from Hurricane Maria. This number was later revised to nearly 3,000 people.
Many fans are choosing to skip this year’s Super Bowl halftime show in favor of Kid Rock-led Turning Point USA’s “All American” halftime show, which includes Pro Football hall of famer eric dickerson and Brett Favre, as well as former ESPN host Sage Steele.

nfl commissioner Roger Goodell defended Earlier this week, Bad Bunny served as a performer.
“Listen, Bad Bunny is one of the greatest artists in the world, and I think that was proven last night, and that’s one of the reasons why we chose him,” Goodell said. “But the other reason is he understands the platform he’s on, which is meant to unite people and be able to bring people’s creativity, talent together and be able to use this moment to do that, and I think artists in the past have done that.
“I think Bad Bunny understands that, and I think he’s going to do a great job.”
