Another ‘Stranger Things’ Actor Makes You Want to Quit the ‘Conformity Gate’

About 40 years ago since the end of stranger things, and we still feel its effects. Oh, sorry, we meant it about 40 days, BUT sure feels like beforeright? Since the last episode of the show aired on New Year’s Eve over a month ago, so much has been said what happened, what didn’t, and what might be coming to the hit Netflix show. And now one of the show’s stars wants to set the record straight about a few things.

The main thing is Gate of Conformitya wild conspiracy theory that is a plus Stranger Things The episode comes after the last one, which gets even stronger Saturday Night Live it was parodied. Caleb McLaughlin was there for that, along with co-stars Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo, and in a new interview about his latest movie, GOATSMcLaughlin tried to put the story to bed.

“At first, I thought the ‘Conformity Gate’ theory was dumb,” McLaughlin said the Hollywood Reporter. “I get that people want to live in this hopeful place of, ‘Oh, we want more Stranger Things,’ but the show is over, guys. I said, ‘Guys, it’s over. 10 years ago. We were children and now we are adults, and we don’t need us anymore.’”

“The Duffers, our wonderful, wonderful creators, want to leave everyone with this level of optimism that the show has always given everyone,” he continued. “So if they leave the show without that, we leave Stranger Things without the true essence of what we represent forever. “

“We’re starting a season of playing Dungeons and Dragonsand that’s how we ended up,” McLaughlin concluded. “And Mike’s ability to narrate and write (which is rooted in D&D) is how the show ends. I think people miss the concept of what the show is when they’re like, ‘Oh, there’s more.’ No, it’s just Mike’s imagination. He always was, even in the first season. Everything is just a story.”

That’s right, sir. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Now, of course, Netflix has an animated series coming, and it’s filming the Broadway show, so Stranger Things unfinished forever. But that main show certainly is.

Oh, and as for that other theory? Is that Eleven still alive? McLaughlin also rested one. “Yeah, he’s gone. I’m so sorry. I thought he evaporated.”
