Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached a divorce settlement after eight years, her lawyer told the media.
Lawyers for Mr. Pitt did not immediately provide comment when approached for comment, The Associated Press reported.
The couple married in 2014 and have six children.
Ms Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
In the months following the news, the two were embroiled in a bitter child custody battle.
In 2021, a judge awarded joint custody of the children to both parents.
The couple, known as “Brangelina” to fans, met on the set of the 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
This is Mr Pitt’s second marriage – he was previously married to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston, while Ms Jolie is her first after actors Billy Bob Thornton and John Lee Miller Married three times.
Jolie has starred in “Tomb Raider,” “The Changeling” and “Girls,” “Interrupted,” while Pitt’s film credits include “Fight Club,” “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “12 Monkeys.”
