An opposition rally in Venezuela calls on the post-Maduro government to ensure full freedoms




Thousands of people joined an opposition rally in Caracas on Thursday calling on the country’s interim government to release all political prisoners and give Venezuelans full freedom. The protests came as lawmakers were due to debate a landmark amnesty bill granting pardons to people jailed for taking part in political protests, but ultimately voted to delay its passage.
