Amnesty bill in Venezuela delayed due to protests




Lawmakers in Venezuela have postponed a final debate on a proposed amnesty law that would free political prisoners, after failing to agree on key details of its implementation. Thousands of protesters marched in Caracas calling for the immediate release of the remaining prisoners, although some have already been freed, and interim President Delcy Rodriguez faces pressure to fulfill her promise of clemency.
