Country music singer Brantley Gilbert was selected to perform at Turning Point USA’s “All American Halftime Show” on Sunday to counter Bad Bunny’s performance at the Super Bowl.
Gilbert will be one of four performers at Turning Point USA. Kid Rock is the headliner and Lee Bryce and Gabby Barrett.
Gilbert has been performing professionally since 2007 and released his debut album in 2009.

He may not be a household name to some Americans and fans. He addressed those who asked who he was and why he was performing at the event.
“I am a songwriter who grew up in and still lives in Jackson County, Georgia, and whose goal in the music industry is to sell the local theater a few miles from my home and somehow make a living writing songs,” he said in a statement.
“I’m a recovering addict with a history of all the bad choices that come with it. I’m not proud of those choices, but I’m proud of the choices I made to go in the other direction with my life.
“I share my story through music in the hope that it will help and inspire others in their darkest moments. i am christianI love our country despite its flaws. I have dedicated part of my life to the men and women who fought for it and the families of those who gave their lives for it. Most importantly, I am a proud husband and father of three. “

Gilbert added that he wanted to perform for his children and that it had been more than 20 years since a country artist had been invited to perform at the Super Bowl halftime.
“We’re celebrating the 250th anniversary of a country, and it’s been over 20 years since country artists were invited to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. I respect that some people may have a different opinion, but I’m not playing this show to be divisive. I get this opportunity to imagine my kids watching their dad perform at halftime during the most important game in American football. Everything I do, I do for them.”
“The way I treat people is not conditioned by our differences. I believe ‘United we stand, divided we fall,’ and my prayer for our country is that we stand united.”
He said he was looking forward to putting on an epic performance on Sunday.
America’s turning point The show will be broadcast live on YouTube, X and Rumble, and other conservative news outlets.

The “All American Halftime Show” is scheduled to air on February 8 at approximately 8 p.m. ET and will feature performances by artists including Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett, according to the nonprofit. (American Turning Point)
TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet previously told Fox News Digital that the show will provide families with different viewing options and an immersive, high-energy experience for viewers.
