It’s been a very interesting week in the life of Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho, with the 20-year-old being omitted from the Manchester derby but now claiming one of football’s biggest prizes.
The Argentinian talent was one of United’s brightest stars, having made his breakthrough at the club during Erik ten Hag’s time at Old Trafford. The winger has made 110 appearances for the Premier League giants, contributing 23 goals and 13 assists.
Manchester United fans have high hopes for Garnacho, but the youngster experienced an embarrassing moment in his short career at the weekend.
The winger has not been included in Ruben Amorim’s squad for Sunday’s game against Manchester City, Portugal coach says Grenache was eliminated from the clash due to training standardswhich is his general behavior in the senior team.
This should fuel the Argentina international’s enthusiasm as it suggests United could secure a place under the former Sporting CP coach as he clearly looks to establish a winning culture at Old Trafford.
