A South African school has stopped making phone calls in the hope of improving students’ concentration




A high school in Cape Town has decided to stop making phone calls after noticing that attention deficit disorder has skyrocketed among students over the past five years. Expecting a backlash, he didn’t get one. This comes as more countries are concerned about the impact of phone and social media use on children and teenagers’ ability to learn and concentrate. So far, 400 South African schools have adopted this measure.
