A sober voice: The rise of healthy alcoholics




In the middle of dry January, many people are trying to maintain the holiday spirit while staying sober. Non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks are increasingly popular and the biggest players in the industry are trying to find ways to profit from this trend. But how long will the noise last? In this edition of People & Profit, Charles Pellegrin of FRANCE 24 talks to two entrepreneurs from the sector. Jonathan Dubois is the founder of Goxo, a French non-alcoholic beer brand specifically marketed to athletes and winner of the European Beer Challenge gold medal for best non-alcoholic beer. We are joined by Paul Mathew, founder of Everleaf Drinks, a British company that produces non-alcoholic aperitifs from sustainable sources.
