A Quidditch team from a Ugandan village harbors Harry Potter-inspired World Cup dreams




The sport of Quidditch – inspired by the fictional game from the Harry Potter books – is gaining popularity in Uganda, where there is now a national tournament and more than 200 players. Organizers hope Ugandan players of the land version of the magic game, officially known as quadball, will one day be able to attend the World Championships in the new sport.
