Google asks Utah Governor to veto the storipos in the United States App Store

Google pushes a bill to make Utah in the US first state with a law that requires the app stores to conduct users’ authentication. The company formally asked the Governor of the State to set the bill, passed to the State Legislature Last weekBecause they are prompted to those who say to think about the different method of safety in the app.

To a Blog post From Google Public Policy Director Garem Ghaem, the company says the law claims “Privacy factors” and Ghanet’s, Ghanet’s “Alternative Lehislate Frameworks”

The statement is the first time Google opens the bill, which will make Apple and Google responsible for the age verification and the company asks that the company Spencer Cox Veto Bill. Cox was then signed In laws that impose age verification and parental consent requirements of social media companies, even if the steps are changed and then blocked by a judge. A spokesperson for Cox does not immediately respond to a request for commentary.

While it is not surprising that Google has disobeyed the law and others like it (there are at least eight more states of similar measurements), that the company in a given app.

Ghanem argues that not all apps should be subject to age verification. “This data sharing level is not necessary – an app time should not be aware of whether a user is a child,” he wrote. “On the contrary, a social media app should make important decisions about the appropriate content of the age and parts.” He also argues that the safety suggestions in the App Store Safety must have a ban on all personal ads to anyone under 18 years of age. "Other companies" Google’s lead will have to follow the issue.

Google clearly has an offer of interest not responsible for its users’ age verification, which will impose important logistics and legal risks for the company. But many other privacy and digital groups disobey Age verification laws.
