The Taliban will close all non-governmental organizations that employ Afghan women




In the latest crackdown on women’s rights in Afghanistan, the Taliban have announced that they will no longer allow national or foreign NGOs employing women to operate in the country. In a letter posted on the social platform X on Sunday night, the Ministry of Economy said that NGOs that do not comply with the new rule will lose their licenses to operate.
