Rodrigo has contributed three goals and six assists in 27 appearances for Madrid in six La Liga and two Champions League competitions this season.
He played 54 times for Madrid in 2024/25, scoring 14 goals and nine assists, including 22 of his 30 games in La Liga as a starter.
Five of those goals and two assists came in the Champions League, where he started 10 times and was on the bench twice.
In 2023/24, Rodrigo scored three more goals but provided three fewer assists in three fewer appearances, marking a decline from his best season so far for Madrid, which featured 19 goals and 10 assists in 57 games in 2022/23.
The Santos youth product was directly involved in 25 goals in 80 appearances for his first club and made his Brazil debut as an 18-year-old in 2019 before featuring at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where his opening penalty was saved in the quarter-final shootout defeat to Croatia.
