No, the UN’s Francesca Albanese did not call Israel the ‘common enemy of humanity’




France is calling for the resignation of Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the Palestinian territories, over alleged anti-Semitic comments she made against Israel. She is accused of calling Israel a “common enemy of humanity” at a forum in Qatar. But as the transcript of her speech shows, she never made that statement. Albanese also rejected this “manipulation” in her own words, clarifying her position directly to FRANCE 24, as Vedika Bahl explains in Truth or Lie
