Milano-Cortina: Controversy erupts over the helmet of the Ukrainian athlete




Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych was disqualified from the Cortina Games in Milan for wearing a helmet in memory of Ukrainian athletes killed in the war with Russia. Ukrainian Sports Minister Matvii Bidnyi called the decision “unfair” but confirmed that the team would continue to compete.
