The tournament, formerly known as the Asia Emerging Teams Cup, has been renamed to highlight the “rising stars” of Asian cricket. The competition will be held from February 13 to 22, 2026 and is an important bridge between domestic success and the international high-level stage.
The organizer is Asian Cricket Council (ACC)all 15 games will be played in Terdthai cricket ground. Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Rising Stars: Tournament Structure
The competition follows a compact and highly competitive format designed to test the consistency and mettle of participants. The eight participating teams were divided into two groups of four.
- Group A: India A, Pakistan A, Nepal and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
- Group B: Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Malaysia and Thailand.
The competition begins with a round-robin group stage, with each team playing three games within the group. The stakes were high from the start, as only the top two teams in each group would earn a spot in the semi-finals, scheduled for February 20. The winners of the knockout rounds will meet in the finals on February 22 to crown the new Asia Rising Star Champion.
