The 42-year-old has been slowly climbing the corporate ladder in WWE. He most recently served as NXT’s new interim general manager after Ava parted ways with the Stamford Promotion.

Last week, Shawn Michaels promoted Robert Stone to a new role. He previously served as a brand associate for Ava. Additionally, Robert Stone has been a part of the WWE Evolve commentary team alongside Peter Rosenberg since the start of the Wednesday night show.
He had a lot to do, which is why he decided to resign from one of his positions. Earlier today, Robert Stone announced on his X/Twitter account that he will be leaving Evolve after tonight’s show. He plans to shift his focus entirely to being the interim general manager of NXT.
“After last night’s chaos on NXT, it’s clear that I need to focus all my energy on my role as Interim General Manager of NXT. With that said, tonight will sadly be my last night analyzing the action at #WWEEvolve. It’s been an incredible first year for the show. Make sure you continue to watch the next generation of talent come to life every week on @Tubi, trust me… I’ll be watching too.”
