U.S. House of Representatives votes to overturn Trump’s tariffs on Canada


Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska was one of six Republicans who joined Democrats in approving the measure. Before the vote, he said “tariffs have a ‘net negative impact’ on the economy and are a significant tax paid by American consumers, manufacturers and farmers.”
