John Calipari has done it in college football. The Arkansas Razorbacks head coach was a three-time Naismith College Coach of the Year and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.
Calipari spoke to reporters Tuesday after Arkansas beat LSU in Baton Rouge. The legendary manager is aware of the difficulty of their upcoming schedule.
“We have seven games from now. We could lose all seven games.
“They’re both top players in our league. Now, we’ll see if we get better. Maybe we get healthy now,” Calipari said.
Calipari’s comments came after his Razorbacks notched their second straight win and fifth in the last six games. However, this does not distract Calipari from the enormity of the task ahead.

Next is John Calipari The team hosts the Auburn Tigers on Saturday. The Razorbacks enter the game with an 18-6 record overall and 8-3 in SEC play. They are currently tied for second in the SEC standings with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Following Saturday’s games, the Razorbacks will play Missouri at Alabama, face Texas A&M at No. 14 Florida State and end the regular season at Missouri. The Florida Gators took sole possession of first place in Wednesday’s league play with an 8-2 record.
John Calipari After spending 15 iconic years at the University of Kentucky, he joined the University of Arkansas last season. He led the Razorbacks to the NCAA Division I Sweet 16, where they lost to third-seeded Texas Tech 85-83 in an epic overtime game.
What Calipari wants to prove most is that he can win a national championship outside of Kentucky. His current roster is led by Darius Acuff Jr. and features Trevon Brazile and Meleek Thomas in supporting roles. Saturday’s game will be a test of Arkansas’ SEC championship hopes.
