The prestigious tournament returns to the West Midlands from November 14-22, with the biggest names in the sport competing for the coveted Eric Bristow Trophy.
Reigning Grand Slam champion Luke Littler is the headliner of the early confirmed stars to appear at the end of the year, along with 2025 Wolves runner-up Luke Humphries and 2026 World Championship finalist Gian van Veen.
The finalists in the 12-month PDC televised competition will be guaranteed a place at Wolverhampton, which will take the number of places to 24, with five players already secured.
Humphrys, the 2023 Grand Slam champion, will play after reaching last year’s Grand Slam final and the 2026 World Masters final, while Nathan Aspinall’s runner-up finish to Littler in the 2025 Players Championship final has earned the Stockport star a place.
Beau Greaves will make his fourth consecutive Grand Slam appearance after reaching the 2025 World Youth Championship final, and the two finalists of the 2026 World Youth Championship will also lock in this year’s Grand Slam seats.
As the scale of the event expands, the 2026 Grand Slam tournament will adopt a new group format, with a total of 16 groups of 3 people each.
The top 16 players will be seeded based on PDC rankings and drawn in group order. The remaining 32 players will be divided into 17-32 and 33-48 according to the PDC ranking order, and will be divided into one of 16 groups respectively.
