The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 in NFL Super Bowl 60 on Sunday, which averaged 124.9 million viewers on NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NBC Sports Digital and NFL+, making it the second-most-watched show in U.S. history. Meanwhile, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny’s halftime show averaged 128.2 million viewers from 8:15 pm to 8:30 pm ET, breaking the NFL’s social media record.
When NFL analyst Mike Freeman heard about Bad Bunny’s halftime show views, he took a cheeky dig at the right and urged fans to boycott the event.
Thanks for your submission!
“The boycott does work,” Freeman tweeted on Tuesday.

US President Donald Trump slams NFL over ‘Bad Bunny’ Super Bowl halftime show

Despite “Bad Bunny’s” record-breaking halftime show, US President Donald Trump criticized the NFL for giving the rapper a platform to compete in big games. On “Truth Society,” Trump called the performance “a slap in the face” to the United States.
“The Super Bowl halftime show was absolutely terrible, the worst ever! It made no sense, was an insult to great America, and does not represent our standards of success, creativity or excellence,” Trump wrote on Sunday. “No one understands what this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially to the little kids watching from America and around the world. This ‘show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ for our country, which is setting new standards and records every day – including the best stock market and 401(k)s in history!”
The entire 14 minutes of “Bad Bunny”‘s Super Bowl halftime show were in Spanish. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin also attended his show as surprise guests.
