Best PlayStation 5 Controller in 2026: The Top PS5 Controller From Sony, Razer, Nacon and More

If you have read our review of Razer Wolverine V3 Proyou’ll find it’s one of our favorite controllers. Well, late last year, Razer finally dropped its long-awaited PlayStation cousin, the Raiju V3 Pro. I’m even more excited for this controller because I was so disappointed with the Wolverine V2 Pro for PlayStation that I can’t in good conscience recommend it to anyone. That’s all the changes in Raiju V3 Pro.

Razer clearly listened to customer feedback and almost completely redesigned the Raiju V3 Pro. It brings all our favorite things from Wolverine, like Razer’s unique mecha-tactile buttons and eight-way floating D-pad, TMR thumbsticks (centimeter, of course) with swappable caps, two-position triggers and also good ergonomics.

The four modified rear buttons and two front bumpers are also here, but with the Raiju, Razer gives you the option to remove the rear paddles if you don’t want to be bothered by them. You also get an extreme level of software customization through the Razer Synapse app, giving you almost complete control over the gaming experience.

My only complaints about the Raiju V3 Pro are the lack of a PS5 app to customize it (but that’s probably more Sony’s fault), the lack of PS4 support and the price. Raiju V3 Pro has a regular price of $219, which is definitely expensive, but in line with other pro models and, in my opinion, it is worth every penny. It might not be the best for everyone, but it’s easily my favorite controller on this list.
