Three British boxers named as potential opponents for Jake Paul’s comeback fight

Jake PaulNakisa Bidarian, business partner and co-founder of MVP Promotions, highlighted three possible options for the internet star’s next trip.

The 29-year-old has just returned from Lost to Anthony Joshua in sixth round stoppage time In December, he broke his jaw in two places from a blow to his right hand.

Paul spent much of the fight in survival mode until the end, doing his best to dodge Joshua’s every blow while constantly throwing himself to the canvas.

Still, given the huge size difference between them, Paul might be forgiven for not wanting to go up against his tougher opponent.

After all, he’s far from a natural heavyweight, and with such limited professional boxing experience, he now seems to have made the wise decision to drop back down to 200 pounds.

In fact, Paul weighed just under 184 pounds when he suffered his only other defeat, via Divided verdict for Tommy Fury2023.

Since then, the two have expressed varying degrees of interest in a potential rematch, with MVP promoter Bidalyan calling the rematch a fight that “should happen.”

talk with boxing socialBidarian discussed the possibility of Fury-Paul 2 while mentioning Viddal Riley and Darren Till as possible opponents.

“The most obvious (opponent) is Tommy Fury – if Tommy is reasonable in terms of the terms of the fight, then this fight should go ahead.

“But I think Viddal Riley is an interesting fight; I think Darren Till is an interesting fight. Those three names that come to mind are all interesting fights.”

British champion Riley is considered the favorite to face Paul, with his most notable wins coming against Chivonne Clark and Mikael LaVar.

Meanwhile, former UFC fighter Till might be a more advantageous option for Paul since their boxing experience levels aren’t entirely different.
