Kroos took to his Instagram Story in response to a post in which Mikel allegedly said the difference between them is whether one is suitable to play for Real Madrid. In his response, the former Germany midfielder questioned why the Nigerian failed to make it to Los Blancos during his career.

In a false quote, Mikel allegedly cast doubt on World Cup winner Kroos’ abilities, saying he was more capable than the German. The comments also included attacks on several other Los Blancos stars, particularly those who won the Champions League six times with the club.
The former Chelsea player continued his life as a pundit on his ObiOne podcast, debunking the viral claims. He enjoyed a fine top-flight career, playing for Chelsea for more than a decade, making over 300 appearances and winning multiple titles.
John Obi Mikel In the 2012 Champions League final against Kroos’ Bayern Munich, he was named man of the match and won his only Champions League title. The German won the competition with Bayern the following year before moving to Los Blancos, where he won the trophy five more times.
