The UN says it is ‘gravely concerned’ about growing international outrage over Israel’s plans for the West Bank




The head of the United Nations said on Monday he was “gravely concerned” by Israeli plans to tighten the country’s control over the occupied West Bank as international outrage over the measures continued to grow. Earlier, Saudi Arabia and seven other Muslim-majority countries condemned the Israeli plans, which pave the way for new settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory.
