Ghana’s traditional shirt has sparked controversy after Zambians mocked the president’s fugu




What was supposed to be an internet troll of Ghana’s traditional costumes has brought international attention to a garment called fugu. Last week, Ghana’s President John Mahama visited Zambia and arrived in fugue. Some Zambians, who had never seen anything like it before, mockingly called it “the blues”, sparking an internet feud between Ghana and Zambia. Our Ghana correspondent, Justice Baidoo, explains.
