Palestinians are returning to Gaza after the long-awaited reopening of Rafah




Gazans who were trapped in Egypt and separated from their families for months have started returning to the enclave after the Rafah border crossing was reopened. The vital border crossing opened last week for the first time since mid-2024, one of the main conditions for a ceasefire between Israel and US-backed Hamas.
