Travis Head snubs Jasprit Bumrah, picks Indian star as favorite opponent

When asked about the bowler he would like to face or battle against, the batsman took an interesting jab and said, “Which bowler would I want to battle against? Abhishek Sharma.” The two cricketers are playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad during the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL). Travis Head also shared his thoughts on the off-spin shot that he could have played or had mastered, saying “I wish there was one? Maybe a off-spin shot.” He concluded: “My T20 game, all I can say, is crazy.”

Travi Head likes Indian conditions

Travis Head plays in a different style and his flashy way of playing sets him apart from other batsmen in world cricket at the moment. He will be crucial for Australia to win the 2023 ODI World Cup and has performed well in and against India.

He performed brilliantly in the recently concluded Ashes series, finishing with a maximum score of 629 runs at an average of 62.90 and scoring 300 runs in the series. The Kangaroos have the firepower to become T20 World Cup champions.

Australia has a different mentality in ICC matches

However, their batsmen need to take responsibility, especially opener Travis Head and captain Mitchell Marsh, as their bowling attack is relatively inexperienced, with Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood being ruled out of the game after suffering various injuries, putting up massive totals on the board.
