
Errol Spence Jr. appears to finally have a match for his long-awaited comeback.
Former unified welterweight champion Spence has not competed since Lost in stoppage time to Terrence Crawford Back in July 2023, they had an undisputed showdown.

According to “The Ring”Spence will face Australian star Tim Tszyu, provided Tszyu goes through a warm-up match first.
“Errol Spence Jr will return to the ring this summer to face Tim Tszyu, sources tell @ringmagazine. Spence has not competed since losing to Terence Crawford in July 2023. Tszyu will have a warm-up match in Australia before the fight, sources tell @ringmagazine.”
Tsiyu became the WBO super welterweight champion in 2023, defeating the likes of Tony Harrison and Brian Mendoza to achieve a 24-0 record before losing to Fundola in a bloody battle while also competing for the vacant WBC gold belt.
He then suffered a heavy defeat to IBF champion Bakhram Murtazaliev in the third round, and then lost to Fundora in the seventh round in the rematch. The Australian fighter has since revamped his roster and made a comeback with a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Velazquez in December.
If reports are true, Tszyu will have a walk-on fight sometime in the next few months before turning his attention to a matchup with Spence in the summer, when he returns and Spence will fight for the first time in three years.
