A former WWE star appears to have teased his return to AEW in a recent social media post. The veteran has been out for several months and fans are anticipating his return.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Dustin Rhodes (real name Goldust) has teased his return to AEW. The Natural has competed in All Elite Wrestling since the promotion began in 2019. He last participated in Collision’s Chicago Street Fight in July 2025, where he lost to the TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher.

Dustin has been unable to compete since then as he had to undergo surgery and is still recovering. at the same time, Dustin Rhodes His possible return to Tony Khan’s promotion has been heavily teased.

Dustin seemingly teased his return by sharing a throwback photo of himself on his Instagram account and added a timer emoji in the caption, seemingly indicating it was only a matter of time before he returned:

WWE legend Dustin Rhodes recently reiterated that he will end his career in AEW. A fan on the X social media platform recently stated that he refuses to believe that Dustin turned down a payoff from the Stamford promotion.

The former Goldust noticed this and responded, stating that AEW is where his heart is. where will his career end. He also vowed that when he returns to the ring, he will give it his all:

“Like I’ve said in the past, @AEW is my heart and my end. When I come back, I’m going to give it my all. I hope that when I retire, all of you will either be there in person or at home watching me.
