Japan’s Takaichi promises ‘big policy change’ after big election win




Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said Monday that her party’s election victory showed the public recognizes the urgent need for major political reforms as she prepares to push through sweeping conservative legislation that will change Japan’s security, immigration, economic and social policies.
