But then we got an extensive teaser that leans more Star Wars familiarity rather than telling us what happened to our titular heroes, people will expect that our next viewing of the movie will give us some idea about what is pulling Din and his ward back into the fray. But don’t expect it that just yet.
During the Super Bowl, Lucasfilm released the latest teaser for the The Mandalorian and Grogu. Set after the events of the third season of the streaming series, the movie follows Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and the young Grogu after their retirement in Navarro after the revival of Mandalore, and Din’s new job working as a freelance agent in the emerging New Republic. This teaser, though? Still vibes, just now in the snow.
The new teaser comes after almost months of silence since the first trailer, a tactic that The Mandalorian more than familiar with, maintaining an air of secrecy as much as possible in the run-up to each season’s debut on Disney+. Even though the new movie is getting closer, it looks like we will have to wait and see what makes this movie worth going to theaters instead of fourth season on Disney+.
