Massey, a Kentucky Republican, is the lead Republican on the Epstein Documents Transparency Act, which would force the release of Epstein documents.

“He should resign,” Massie said on CNN’s “Inside Politics Sunday.”

“If we believe what’s in these dossiers, Howard Lutnick clearly went to the island; he had business dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, and this was years after Jeffrey Epstein was convicted,” Massey said. “He has a lot to answer for, but frankly he really should have made the president’s life easier and resigned.”

Massey noted that several British officials have been overturned because of their presence in the Epstein dossier. Mandelson’s name also appears in Epstein’s dossier.

Lutnick’s dealings with Epstein have come under increasing scrutiny, with the names of dozens of public figures included in documents that the Justice Department released after signing a law forcing their disclosure. Cantor Fitzgerald, former chairman and CEO, said on podcast “Podli No.1” Last year, he vowed never to interact with Epstein again after their initial meeting in 2005.

However, a New York Times analysis of Epstein’s files found that Lutnick and Epstein had maintained contact since their first meeting in 2005. reported before Epstein invited Lutnick to his private island in the Caribbean, and Lutnick had been communicating with Epstein about construction across the street from their home. The two also drank alcohol in 2011, documents show.

The New York Times report also included new details, including that Epstein’s lawyers obtained the resume of Lutnick’s nanny and that Epstein donated $50,000 to an event in Lutnick’s honor.

Epstein and Lutnick also invested in the now-defunct company AdFin Solutions, the Times reported.

A Commerce Department spokesman told The Times that Lutnick had “very limited interactions” with Epstein and called the report a “failed attempt by legacy media to divert attention from the administration’s accomplishments.”
